Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

Bouncing Back from Bankruptcy

Before you can get out of difficult financial times, you have to take the time to assess how you got there.

At The Page Law Firm, I will help you retrace your steps, get your footing, and point you on a path to financial relief.

Chapter 7 bankruptcy may or may not be a viable option for you. By assessing your situation, I will give you open and objective advice in a personal and compassionate manner.

Together, we will sit down, analyze your expenses and income, take a look at your assets, and liabilities, and develop a reasonable budget. This will help determine if filing for bankruptcy is your best option.

If you file Chapter 7, you will typically have just one day in court. A creditors meeting will occur shortly after your case has been filed, during which I will accompany you as the trustee and creditors have their one opportunity to ask you about your bankruptcy filing.

If you qualify for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, also known as straight bankruptcy or liquidation bankruptcy, you will receive debt relief. You can stop creditors from harassing you and potentially discharge overwhelming debt.

As founder of The Page Law Firm, I appreciate that people filing for bankruptcy need a lawyer dedicated to the full value of every dollar they invest in counsel, and my clients can expect cost-effective representation from The Page Law Firm.we

Under the new bankruptcy laws, individuals are required to take a credit counseling course before their case is filed and a personal financial management course in order to receive a discharge in  bankruptcy.  We use Consumer Credit Counseling for our credit counseling and Dave Ramsey for our personal financial management course.  We want you to have a fresh start with a good foundation.

Contact me at The Page Law Firm to discuss your options. In addition to normal business hours, I will meet with you during evening hours and Saturday by appointment.
